Diamond Rally 2022

We kicked off the morning bright and early at 7:15AM by gathering at Trove before heading out to the ferry terminal. At Trove, gift bags were distributed, breakfast was served, and many new acquaintances were made over the interest of cars. After breakfast, the team headed for Tsawwassen ferry terminal, ready to begin their Diamond Rally 2022 Journey.

After arriving at  Duke Point Ferry Terminal, the team began an exhilarating 40-minute journey over to the Vancouver Island Motorsport Circuit. All drivers had the option to drive on the racetrack with 30 minute heat groups. After the initial track time, drivers stayed on track for additional photo laps courtesy of Team OCHK.

After checking into the Fairmont Empress, the team headed on over to Lugaro Jewellers to attend the Trophies and Awards Presentation. Our team accepted two trophies; the first one being "Top Mclaren", and the other being "Top Team Livery". It was truly a memorable experience. After heading back to Empress, everyone gathered in the Bengal Room for dinner.  Gratifying speeches were presented by the OCHK team, revealing to the audience about the long-awaited merge between Custom Driven and OCHK. After welcoming the Make-A-Wish team up to the podium, they expressed their gratuity for being able to make Matt's wish come true; which was refurbishing his truck on time for his birthday. Toasts were made, food was enjoyed, and pictures were taken to commemorate this occasion. After dinner, members were welcome to take their own pictures/videos with our 360° Photo Booth which was set up in the Bengal Room.

Guests were greeted at with a complimentary breakfast/brunch at the Empress. The team members then gathered together to start the scenic drive over to Royal Roads University. There, cars were arranged in front of the ocean for some commemorative photos with the drivers. Soon after, the team hit the road for Nanaimo; making one stop at the scenic Split Rock Lookout, where more photographs were taken. The team then journeyed back to the Duke Point Ferry Terminal, concluding the unforgettable trip.
